  Hi,

  Yesterday we've finally got the chance to test adCenter Analytics. Our company always used to work with LiveStats and since we're using a lot of Microsoft software we decided to start using adCenter Analytics as successor of LiveStats.

  The problem we're facing now is that support for LiveStats stops, and the program is not functioning as it should do anymore. It would have been great to switch to adCenter in the past few weeks, but the software is still in development... an issue that concerns all former users of LiveStats if you ask me. Could somebody give us a clear overview of the things to come!? A roadmap of some sort to inform colleagues and others about this new tool? This would also help to create a better image of what functionality the software will provide us in future releases.

  I'm especially interested in functionality to create users under a certain account in order to give our customers a view on their own web statistics.

  Last point of interest, the performance isn't what I would expect... it's running slowly. But I have seen that this issue was mentioned before so I expect that this has already been noticed by the developers.

  Thanks for your interest in adCenter Analytics and for your participation in this forum. At this time we do not have a roadmap that I can share with you.

  Regarding the ability to create users within your account—this feature is on our plan and we are working with the adCenter team to realize its implementation. Our plan is to implement the ability to create users with different permission levels (view only, change settings, etc.).

  What user permissions would you like to see enabled via this feature? Would two levels—viewer and administrator—be sufficient for your needs?

  Regarding the performance issue—have you noticed that the performance has improved over the last few weeks? If not, can you help me understand the level of performance you are experiencing?

  Hi Darrin,

  Regarding permission levels. What we really would like to have is a two level permission architecture, where you have the administrator and the viewer. Besides that it's very important to give the viewer only permission to view the stats of a certain url (domain). In some cases our company acts as a ISP. In these cases, we want to be the administrator with total control on all our domains, while we want customer A only to be able to watch their own statistics and not the statistics of customer B.

  Regarding the performance issue, performance is still not what we would expect. It takes quite a while for the application to handle a request. On the other hand, the app has to handle a lot of data. I can't really pin-point it to a specific item in adCenter, it's more the general feeling when using the application.

  Could you tell us when you expect to have integrated the user administration tools? Thanks for your time!

  Thanks de Tukker. Your feedback regarding permission levels is helpful. The Engineering team is actively looking into these capabilities; I'll report back when I have more complete info that I can share with you.
