    Crazy policy.

My account was deactivated.  I would like to reactivate my account with a new credit card.  I was told (on the phone) that I cannot do this because the account has been deactivated because $1.11 ($1.11!) is owed and the old card expired and it was declined.

I was told the only way to get ads up and running would be to entirely re-apply, and set up new campaigns.  I'm not going to do that.  If you can offer a reasonable resolution to this (enter a new credit card, pay the $1.11 and renew my account) I'd like to use your services again.  If you can't, I'll just increase my buys on Yahoo and Google.  This is a crazy policy.

Gripe letter I sent to microsoft.  Any thoughts out there?

    Hi mrsmirk,

Generally when an account has been deactivated (inactive) for what ever reason, the account is disabled and it cannot be reactivated. The only way to correct it is to create a brand new account and recreating your campaigns and ads once again.

If you do create a new account, you can have the outstanding ballance from the inactive account transferred to your new account usually within 2 days after you contact suppport to have this process initiated.

If you would like assistance or further guidance, please private message me with either your username or a ticket provided from support.

    Thank you,

    Brian H - MSFT
