I appied for for affiliate account at http://www.microsoftaffiliates.net and found that i don't have access to AdCenter affiliate program. It required to sign up for something else.... I did ... then the Adcenter page suggested
".....simply contact the Microsoft Affiliate Network at affiliates@microsoftaffiliates.net to find out how to access this particular offer within the Network. We’ll provide you with banner ads and other marketing materials to post on your site or distribute to your audience."
I "simply" did.. 2 days - no reply.... i emailed again - no reply.. I logged back and found that i was already approved -
I got my affiliate link, banners, 2 of my domain were approved..,, I added 2 more - both were approved within 6 hours.
I sent newsletter to my customers... Checked that statistics are working

These stats would be OK (maybe) if i wouldn't spent the whole evening teaching one of my customers how to setup her account...she even used the coupon from my affiliate link... and it worked.
Apparently i wasted my Sat evening for "free" because no commissions has been registered on my account. Someone else thanked me for coupon - this mean that i missed more than one sale...
My affiliate ID is 5668
The person i helped to setup the account (AdCenter): X0145708
If it is too hard to run your own affiliate program - there is cj.com - Yahoo uses them.
... but Melissa Witt, Program Manager (Microsoft Affiliate Network) should probably pay a little
bit more attention to her job.... I can bring people and i can take them away..
