  • adCenter August upgrade: credit card updates Tuesday, August 19, 2008 by: Carolyn Miller - MSFT 0 Comments

Over the weekend we upgraded adCenter with new features – some of which were requested by customers right here in the adCenter Community. First up: for those of you who pay for adCenter by credit card, some changes to make managing your credit cards and payments easier.

    "Bill Me Now"

You are now able to pay your credit card balance on demand – which is a request we've heard often from customers. To bill your credit card to pay your adCenter balance (of at least $1) outside of your regular monthly payment schedule, just click the Accounts & Billing tab, then the Billing sub-tab, then the Bill Me Now button. See About billing in adCenter Help for more information about billing schedules.

    Remove unused credit cards

You're now able to remove credit cards you no longer use in adCenter (another request we've heard from our customers) to help keep your payment options organized and up-to-date.

    1. Click the Accounts & Billing tab, and then click the Payment Methods sub-tab.
    2. In the Card number column, find the number of the credit card that you want to remove, and then click Delete in the column at the right.
    3. If your credit card is not associated with an active account, a message appears, asking you to confirm whether you want to delete the card.
    4. In the message window, click OK. You have now successfully removed your unused credit card from your list of payment methods.

Add, view and edit credit cards

The process to add a new credit card to your adCenter account is now more streamlined.

    1. Click the Accounts & Billing tab, and then click the Payment Methods sub-tab.
    2. On this page, click Add credit card.

Viewing and editing your existing credit card information is now easier as well.

    1. Click the Accounts & Billing tab, and then click the Payment Methods sub-tab.
    2. In the Card number column, click the number of the card you want to work with.

When you view the details of a credit card, you can also see which accounts are associated with that credit card.
