  • Finding your ad on Live Search Tuesday, June 10, 2008 by: Kelley Myers 0 Comments

Did you find your ad in live search results?  Yes? Great—the rest of this post isn’t for you. If you answered no, then let us help. A few weeks ago I told you about a new section of the Microsoft Advertising website that can help you find your ad. One of the most popular items to help track down your search ad is a handy checklist you can download and print.

The "Where's My Ad?" Checklist offers step-by-step instructions through different tasks to help determine if your ad is live or not. Some examples include:

    • Does your search return any organic search results?
    • Is your campaign active?
    • Does your ad campaign still have budget?
    • Does your ad group have target settings?

Each step in the checklist includes information on how to find the answer and verify your settings so that you can drill down and ultimately find your ad.

This checklist and the other information on the website is part of a proof of concept– we're testing out how we provide service and operational content to you online. So if you have any comments on the checklist or any of the other information, be sure to let us know on this forum thread. What would you like to see more or less of? How do you like to learn – article, video, FAQ? Your feedback will help us shape future content offerings in this area.
